ONCE UPON A TIME - Smash Hit?

Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, two of the head writers for LOST, have created a new show for ABC, called "Once Upon a Time" which premiered this week. I enjoyed it, though am not completely sold. I am certainly willing to invest hours into a drama with such a pedigree behind it. (Of course, I said the same thing about a comedy with "Mr. Sunshine" -- come on! Allison Janney! Matthew Perry! Look where that got me - with a half dozen hours of my life that I won't get back. LOL)

Here is a bit of background, if you are interested. http://tvmusingsandthoughts.wordpress.com/2011/10/23/edward-kitsis-and-adam-horowitz-preview-once-upon-a-time/

What I particularly enjoyed, were the nods to LOST fans, including black smoke, a close up of an eye, apartment 108 and the clock being stuck on 8:15. Did you see others? What did I miss?

Funny I should just finish watching episode 2, think of the little island.....and here you are already! I liked Once Upon A Time. I especially liked the end of the second episode where I think that things are finally going to get rolling. Rumplestiltskin is awesome! So far it's better than anything else I've seen lately. I have enjoyed Persons of Interest. I only saw a couple of episodes but just love seeing "Ben".

I have only seen one episode of PoI, and the first of OUaT. Both were good enough (with the right pedigree) that I will watch again. Like I said, not SOLD, but willing to invest time. Good to see you, Miss Kim!

Hey e'rybody. I am diggin' OUAT, really like the concept and figure the writing will be good. I am starting to think that POI should have been a movie or a mini-series...

Hammer Time! Yay! I agree totally with the POI comment. It's ok....but a little same-o same-o every week. I'm watching OUAT right now....missed the first half picking my daughter up at Church group. Damn that religion! I'll have to watch it in full tomorrow on abc.com I guess....

Hey Hi All,

Tarzan not see show called OUAT before tonight. Bernard rig thing call sat-a-lite, and all of island sit and watch mare-a-thon of OUAT all day on day called new year day. silly made up stories not make Tarzan happy ape-man. Tarzan want to see true story, not made up story. Everyone know - true story, like those on Tarzan island with Kate, Jack, Sawyer and Ben make best story.

Sawyer call Tarzan on day call Chris-mass and say good Noel to all. Tarzan glad to hear Sawyer voice. He say girl call Juliet is still living in his heart. And that she still punch man call Ben in face every time she get chance. Sawyer most glad that his name not list in place call Lighthouse, like once was. Rose say hi all. Vincent say woof too!

Big man call Hurley say Navidad Felice. Tarzan say that sound like girl name. Man name Hurley explain that name just like other chris-mas name, like Noel. Man name Hurley leave soon. He say he make television picture 'bout new island... island he call Al Catraz. That name sound like man name to Tarzan.

Tarzan say woof to all friends too... shark friends not so much.

No Bernard on the list?

Hawaii 5-0 has had Locke (Terry O'Quinn) on all season... in a role with a serious agenda all of season 2 (so far). Guess who was the evil baddie tonight - Bernard. He died a terrible death, but not a the hands of O'Quinn.

Ol' Bernie looked like has aged ten years in the short time since LOST made its' exit. O'Quinn looks like he is still relatively fit... but he took a butt-whoopin' this ep. Dan Kim is still massively buff.
