Will MIB be Next?

I watched episode three. It still has my attention, but honestly, it is feeling a little "season three" for me - it seems to meander more than I would like. The fight scenes are already getting old. I imagine my expectations, as a LOSTie, are higher than the average viewer. I really admire the flawed nature of the characters and the acting has been strong. The casting is excellent, though seeing Jacob Jeremy as a bad guy was shocking. Admittedly, the most difficult part was NOT being able to discuss it with my husband, as my kids are only part way through season five of LOST! Thoughts?

Okay... this is not the place to mention this but its not mentioned anywhere else.
Is anyone else totally reading "Jack" in Scott Speedman's character on Last Resort???

Julie, anything goes.

And yes, TOTALLY. I have only watched the first episode of Last Resort, but you are SO right!

Haha, my husband and I said the same thing after watching the first episode of Last Resort. The music sounded very LOST-ish also...

And yes, I think LOST set the bar a little high for comparisons. Revolution is starting to get a little repetitive, but I'm holding out hope that once they explain Juliet/Rachel's character a little more, maybe I'll like it better?

Yes, the music for Last Resort was SCREAMING Giacchino. I didn't see his name in the credits though.

I did realize that the captain's last name is Chaplin, which is kind of a call out to Shepherd, IMO. LOL

Watched episode two last night. Enjoyed it, though I have to wonder what they will introduce into the storyline because the current plot line can't possibly successfully last beyond two or three more episodes.

So I finally got around to watching episode #3 of Revolution. It is becoming more and more intriguing to me. I did not miss the silly Ninja Turtlesque sword fighting scenes. My curiosity is getting the better of me I suppose. I didn't really care for the first two episodes, but I'm starting to get sucked in. It bugged me that Juliet looked pretty darn good for a woman that had been tortured. I thought I might have missed something but I don't think I did. So--what made the lights go out? And why did some people know in advance? And why aren't they using their knowledge to bring it back?

@ PJ--good point about Last Resort. I guess my expectations for this show are different than they are for Revolution. There is a mystery to uncover in Last Resort, but it is not nearly as earth shattering and unusual as what made the lights go off in Revolution. There appear to be enough little subplots to keep our interest as well. Also--there is plenty of room for characters off the island to develop. I really like this show and I hope it does well. The pace and the acting remind me so much of West Wing...LOVED that show.

I'm really loving the theme/design of your blog. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility problems? A handful of my blog visitors have complained about my site not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?
