Well the final three hours did NOT disappoint!
To quote a friend:
"I don’t care what you know -
I don’t care what you think -
I don’t care what you think you might know -
I don’t care what you know you might think…
That was easily two of the best produced, acted, written, directed, filmed - hours of TV ever presented."
My only amendment to that statement is that I would include the first hour and make it THREE of the best produced, acted, written, directed, filmed - hours of TV ever presented EVER.
What were the best questions answered?
What new questions are you asking?
Can we actually wait seven months?

Too many LOST thoughts and not enough REM sleep. I'm trying to concentrate on "The Big Picture", but am not sure what that is. Anyhoo--After consulting the timeline on lostpedia, it appears that Farady was watching the tv report of the found wreckage on aprox. Day #75 on The Island. He's crying and tells his caregiver he doesn't know why. Then, somehow he's recruited to be on the freighter with Charlotte and Miles. These guys appear to have some obvious history and know a thing or two about eachother. I think that this is somehow VERY instumental .... this, combined with Charlotte's comments to Miles and her decision to stay on the island, which disappoint Daniel, open up a big old box of speculation. Daniel has "been there, done that" it seems when it comes to The Island. Some kind of big old loop-the-loop of sorts. I'll continue thinking about this...and would love any ideas.
PS doch....don't leave!!! :(
I think you're right, Miss Kim.
Charlotte, Miles and Daniel are going to be a big part of the next couple of seasons I think. I hope that Daniel was somehow transported WITH the island. Maybe after the explosion, he turned the zodiac around and got close enough to the island to be moved WITH it.
I don't know how they can keep Frank in the picture, but I hope they do... I like the guy.
What do you think about Jin? Did he jump off the freighter in time? Did he also get moved? (Maybe the sinking wreckage of the freighter was moved too?)

Seems to be trouble finding the big island now. Hopefully it is temporary.
: ) P
It is back now... I guess for the big island, two hours OOC is essentially temporary!
DocH? Come out come out wherever you are!

I def. think that all the folks not on the chopper wheather dead or alive got taken to the new location including the zodiak and the blast victims.
Hey PJ, you are good at finding screen caps. I heard there is one of the coffin that has lettering either on the coffin or near the coffin that is an anagram for Locke in coffin?
Hi Hammer,
It is late, and I'm not sure what you are looking for, so I will give you my best source, and let me know if you find it:
http://tinyurl.com/45fnf6
That takes you to a page of screen shots for the funeral parlor. Scroll back and forward from that page for more.
: ) P
Thanks PJ. I don't really know what I am looking for either. I heard on a radio station here in Detroit that there is lettering on or near the coffin with the anagram. Maybe from the first time we saw the casket. I'll look more.
The first time we saw the coffin there was a lot of chit-chat about Hoffs-Drawlar being an anagram for Flash Forward. As far as Hammer's inquiry, I haven't heard or read anything about that here in upstate NY. (Must be a Detroit thing!) Here's the only thing I could figure out for you. In "Through the Looking Glass" there is a scene where the Funeral Director is standing in front of a sign that reads: "Funeral Directors Office" There are enough letters in this to make "Truer if Read: Loc_es Coffin" I know, I know, no k....but it is the best I could come up with.

That in itself is pretty cool!
Did you see the post on the big island about the list of positions on the Octagon Global Recruiting video, where the first letter of each of the last sixteen positions spelled DHARMA INITIATIVE?
I haven't ever heard from ABC or OCR and I registered both my email addresses. Have any of you heard?

I've been thinking about the O6 and Jacob's List. Hurley WAS on the list. Kate, Jack, Sawyer, and Sayid were NOT on the list. I'm not sure if Sun was on it or not. (Locke wasn't and Aaron....well, he wasn't born at the time I suppose.) What's that list all about and how does it pertain to the O6 and Locke needing to return to the Island?????
PJ, I haven't heard anything back either and I left my e-mail address as well.
Thanks Miss Kim for trying.
It was a host of a morning show on WRIF in Detroit that said. I haven't been able to find what he was talking about.
Nothing from Octagon for me either.

Very puzzling indeed.
I'm really into "Big Picture Thinking". I totally love reading everybody's theories over on the Big Island, but unless some little thing that is causing a lot of chatter plays into "The Big Picture", I just don't think too hard about it. (Kind of like the bazillion posts about "maybe it's Michael's baby, not Jins.") Many of my thoughts may seem random as a result of my thought process. It seems, Hammer, that you are also a "Big Picture Thinker" and have specualted on many great points such as the Whisperers which IMHO are pretty important to the whole story. Your ideas are thoughtful, insightful, and in most instances can be backed up with "facts". PJ--you are much better than I am at focusing on the things that are actually important which I may tend to dismiss at first glance. You are also very tactful and helpful which is refreshing--especially on the Big Island. Both of you are very objective thinkers, which I especially like. Anyhoo--I'm starting to sound like the President of the Hammer & PJSanders fan club. I'll continue bringing up my random "Big Picture" questions and ideas. Thanks for the feedback.
OK. Jacob's List. Good/Bad, Deserving/Undeserving, Special/Ordinary, Dead/Alive, Time Traveler/Existing Appropriately, Mastered Life/Needs Improvement, Ben's Team/Widmore's Team?
Thanks Miss Kim. Although sometimes I get caught up in the minutia too. I try to avoid it, but sometimes people get my "goat".
Don't sell yourself short either. Many of your "ramblings" help put my thoughts back in order or force me to rethink.
I agree that PJ is one of "us". I am just baffled at why DocH suddenly bolted on us. Talk about a forward thinker...It seemed he was really on his game and without warning....gone.
Lists are a theme, it seems.
Jacob had a list of "worthy?" people.
There was a list of Losties that were kidnapped.
There was the list of Losties that Michael was to bring in exchange for Walt.
Any other lists we can consider?
: ) P
The list choice you give are quite intresting. Especially the dead/alive one. Interesting that Jack can't kill himself and wasn't on the list but Ben added him to the list. Hugo, Kate, Sawyer maybe didn't "die" in the crash. The way the show started with Jack off in the jungle and his eye....you've got my mind racing.

Here here!
I agree that PJ is one of "us".
Thanks to you both. And the feelings are mutual. I think we all found this island for a reason *G*.

Me, too. Maybe it is part of his 12 step LAA program. Step one is admitting you have a problem. Which I think we have ALL done. Perhaps step two is removing yourself from situations where you have willpower issues. If so, good for him. Not so good for us.
And if so, I don't think I will EVER get to step two! *G*

lostpedia has these to look over...
1 Tail section list
2 Middle section list
3 Jacob's list
4 Mikhail's comments about the list
5 Bea Klugh's list
6 Ben's List
7 Michael's List

Oh hey... your list of lists including Bea Klugh made me remember... I thought I saw Ms. Klugh among the others in their camp. I am off to find a screen cap to see if I am right.

: ) P asked:

*******************************
Lots of lists....Ben's List of people for Sayid to kill, Michael's List of people on the freighter, and Mikhail indirectly suggests that there is a master list and hints that those on the list can comprehend why the Others would want to be on the island. I'm not sure if Mikhail is referring to Jacob's List or something completely different.

Pretty funny.
The Book of Life is the allegorical book in which God records the names and lives of the righteous (worthy) and to be blotted out of it signifies death. If Jacob’s List was kind of like this than that would mean that since Hurley was NOT on the list, he was not recorded as being righteous but Kate, Locke, Sayid, and Jack were recorded as being righteous. It almost seems like the opposite of this would be true. As in, Jacob’s List records the names and the lives of the unworthy.
This looks better in writing than in my head. OK, here goes:
Kate, Locke, Sayid, Sawyer, and Jack are on the list.
Hurley is NOT on the list.
Jacob’s List contains the names of the worthy. (Hurley is unworthy)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the unworthy. (Hurley is worthy)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the good. (Hurley is bad)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the bad. (Hurley is good)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the special. (Hurley is ordinary)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the ordinary. (Hurley is special)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the time travelers. (Hurley exists appropriately)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the people who exist appropriately. (Hurley is a time traveler)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the people on Ben’s team. (Hurley is on Widmore’s team)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the people on Widmore’s team. (Hurley is on Ben’s team)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the Living. (Hurley is dead)
Jacob’s List contains the names of the Dead. (Hurley is alive)
For fun, also consider Jack’s name to go with Hurley’s name in the above as Jack was originally not on the list but added by Ben.
None of the screencaps I could find showed Ms. Klugh or anyone that looked like her. I'm off to take the kids to a ball-game, so I will have to check TiVo tomorrow to see if I can see her. Sadly, my TiVo is NOT hi-def. I wish abc.com didn't take SO long to load!
Bye for now,
: ) P
PJ: I re-watched for Bea Klugh when Locke came out of the Orchid to Richard and friends. I did not see her. There was, however, an african american woman in the scene. Is the part where you thought you noticed her?
Here is a screencap for you. Not sure if the links work on the "small island", but I'll try anyways.
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg162/getlostpodcast/4x13/4x13screencaps_144D/4x1300105.jpg
Well that didn't work at all. If you go to getlostpodcast.com. Click on the picture of Locke at the top, it should open up a ton of great screencaps. There is a nice close-up of the "hostiles" just past half way down.
Speaking of “Big Pictures”, I’m sure that I have missed some cool theories about LOST/Atlantis connections on the Big Island since I just started the on-line aspect of my LOST addiction this year.
Don’t know if you guys have already discussed this once upon a time, but:
Hold the ALT key in “notepad” (font type must be "System") and type the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42. Release ALT, and you will get the Greek symbol µ (Mu) which is the name of the lost continent Lemuria, which is similar to Atlantis. I saw it on Lostpedia and tried it and it actually works. I found this to be very cool….here’s a link for Lemuria if you’re interested: (wiki link) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemuria_(continent)
Also (cool site) http://www.lemuria.net/

Yeah, I did a cut/paste and forgot to edit. :)
Thanks for the info on the screencap, L4E. Yeah, that didn't look like Ms. Klugh. Too bad.
BTW, if you have a link that is very long, and might not fit in a blog like this, there is a cool site I found and have used a LOT lately. It is Tiny URL. It converts long web addresses into very short ones.
www.tinyurl.com
Try it!
The whole Lemuria thing sounds fascinating. I am going to try to find some time to look at that! Thanks, Miss Kim.
