To help kick out the hiatus-blues, we will resurrect Tillie Trivia, just as Beach Guy resurrected John Locke!
The game is fairly simple... if you know the answer, share it and then ask your own question. If you are not sure you have the correct answer, then you can wait for it to be confirmed before you ask your own. You can still post theories, links, suggestions, and non-trivia questions of course, the trivia is just an added feature to make the hiatus down-time a little more fun.
Questions from last hiatus are bound to be repeated, and that is just fine.

First trivia question: Who was the first character to get a nosebleed in season five?
: ) P
Just got back from a nice long week at the beach...back to reality now! I would say the first character to get a nosebleed was Charlotte, but I can't remember if we saw the Orchid worker with his nosebleed before she got her first one? I'm going with Orchid-worker man!
LOL. Good job, Lins. I was looking for Charlotte, but I think Orchid worker was first. Okay, your turn!
: ) P
Hey, does anyone claim the name "Aleshia Sassipants Vlasaty" as his or her own? This person requested to join the Tillie group on FB, but I couldn't come up with an anagram, and don't recognize the location.
: ) P
Sassipants?
Sounds like GMTA Sassipants....
(duhn-da-dunt-dun... duhn-da-dunt-dun-dunnnn ... play DRAGNET theme song now...)
Been away for awhile but look forward to catching up with all of your comments within the next week or so and hopefully joining the fun again.
I realize this is old discussion for all of you but I was very disappointed in the finale. The first 5 minutes + last 10 mintues + the Jacob visits = great TV. To me the rest was, dare I say it, filler.
Now I will respect the blog and begin reading the comments from where I last left off. Maybe I will find out about this FB page and where to join.:)
L4E! Where've'ya been?
Personally, I loved the finale. I could have done with a little less action-film tension while all the metal was being pulled into the drill-hole, but I suppose that is what made the Sawyer-Juliet scene so intense.
I am glad you're back!
: ) P
Okay, I got a giggle out of this, so I thought I would share...
I TiVo'd Sabretooth because Josh Holloway was in it. I've watched the first fifteen minutes and it appears that it will be pretty lame. The beginning scenes show people preparing for a hike of some kind. However, in the first scene with Holloway, he is breaking boards with a spinning kick (martial arts) as a woman walks by. Unimpressed, she says, "that will come in handy if we are attacked by a wild boar."
LOL. Maybe a wild boar steals clothes and pees on them?
: ) P
Ok, this one is probably pretty easy, but I still thought it was one of the funnier moments of LOST - how old were the crackers that Hurley was eating that Ben pulled out of the tin under the rock when Ben, Locke, and Hurley were travelling to the Orchid?
I like that one, Lins. Fifteen years!
Okay, here's one:
Sawyer is shirtless when he swims ashore from his heroic helicopter jump. From where or whom does he eventually get a shirt?
: ) P
Sawyer not special.
Tarzan make that swim many time.
Never need shirt after swim... most time not need loin cloth.
All Tarzan need is frozen yogurt from guy that wear red shirt.
Tarzan not remember name of man with red shirt that Sawyer always torment with nickname.
LOL. Tarzan, Small Island Leader gives you credit for good answer and offer extra coconut for make laugh! Great job.
Name you not know be Neil. Small Island Leader say Frogurt also be correct.
Now Tarzan ask question. Please.
: ) P
Tarzan follow group with many bloody nose to beach after Tarzan wake up in bushes with bloody nose. Yellow hair man say he want beer. One man find water bottle that say Ajeera. Blonde hair goddess say Ajeera is shiny metal bird that come from Injuh. Yellow hair man say he no care where shiny metal bird come from, as long as it take him on flight to _________ ?
Hi all. Good to see you L4E. Cute story. I got engaged this past weekend. The ring I was presented with belonged to my future husband's grandmother. It's very art deco, early 1900's- quite beautiful, in fact. The best part: The diamond is nestled inside a perfect DHARMA bagua. Now, every time I look at my hand I can think of DH to be and LOST!!!! (Yes, I need professional help.) :)
C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S
M I S S
K I M !
How soon until we have to start calling you Mrs. Kim? LOL
: ) P
Congratulations Miss Kim!! That's a really cute story! You'll have to post pictures of your ring on facebook so we can all see it!!
DharmaDiamond has been posted on the little island's facebook page. It's not the best pic, but you can surely get the Dharma vibe...
That is AWESOME, Miss Kim! Thank you for sharing.
Well Tarzan, I think you stumped us... what is the answer to your trivia question? (And then ask another, please!)
: ) P
Hawaii?
PJ - I just requested to join the facebook group so I could see this special ring. Please approve me (assuming you're the one that does that).
Flgrl, are your initials SW and you live in FL? If so, then I will approve you ASAP!
: ) P
Yellow hair man say he want Ajeera flight go to Las Vegas. Guess you had to be there, like Tarzan. Tarzan hope Las Vegas a lush jungle forest. If so, Tarzan go to Las Vegas too.
Tarzan ask... when creepy science men strap man who shot science boy to tree and give him drugs to make 'truth-speak'... man who shot science boy say he is from future, and then describe three hidden station on big island... what three hidden station did he say he know?
(Tarzan know where more station are, just not know what all station do.)
Well Tarzan, I know Sayid said the Swan because Radzinsky went all crazy when he did. I have to guess on the other two... Flame and Arrow?
: ) P
PJ of Sander get one papaya for Swan. Only get half of coconut for Flame/Arrow.
Happy 4th of July Tillies!!
My guess is Pearl, Swan and The looking glass. Sonce there was 1/2 a coccunut for Flame/arrow I'm probably wrong.
Greasy man tied to tree say Flame, Pearl then Swan. He also say drugs that make him truth-speak are just right.
Tarzan not know of Looking Glass station. What part of island does Looking Glass exist? Circus Mother make Tarzan think more than Tarzan able... so she ask next question.
Those of you with babies, or those who know LOST fans with babies, will appreciate these (heck, all of you will appreciate them, just might not BUY them):

Those are CUTE, PJ!! I like the one that says Not Penny's Baby, too funny!
Lordy be! I've been away so long I'm way behind on a new thread:
SciFiScoop has a comment by Michael Emerson on the grand finale:

I'll have to watch the trivia; I didn't know the answer to the first one.
8) Jim
Cool interview, Jim, thanks.
Okay, well until Tarzan can give us the complete answer to his very tough question, I am going to kick-start the trivia with a new question - especially now that we have a more active group!
In season five who was the first time traveling character to see someone in the past? Bonus points if you name the character(s) seen.

If we're talking chronologically in the lives of the travellers (hedge, hedge), Locke saw Ethan on the first flash.
8) Jim
Right on, Jim! Your turn!
: ) P
Tillie Trivia: Who told Sawyer that he could find the man who conned his parents in Australia?
I think that Sawyer's con partner was the one who gave him the (false) information about where to find the original Sawyer. I don't remember the guy's name though. Half points, maybe? LOL
: ) P
PJ, I've had The Stand for a few days now and I'm on chapter 33.
So far, it's an easier read than I had anticipated. Also, the miniseries seems to have been fairly faithful; it did leave out a lot of inconsequential characters.
8) Jim
Yes, PJ, I am SW from FL. Sorry I haven't been around recently to see your post.
Someone just mentioned to me that at 4:05 and 6 seconds today it will be 4-05-06-07-08-09.
It reminded me of the numbers. I am a Lost acholic.
We get another good one today, CM. At 10:11 and 12 seconds!
07/08/09 10:11:12
I will approve you right now, flgrl!

No more detailed answers, so PJ wins. Hibbs (no first name) told Sawyer that the "real" Sawyer was living in Australia under the name Frank Duckett.

Tillie Trivia: In an attempt to get Jack to agree, Ben tells him a story of an apostle, concluding with, “We’re all convinced sooner or later, Jack.” What was the name of the apostle?
: ) P
It was the story about "Doubting Thomas", wasn't it, PJ? I always notice the Biblical references and I love the story of Thomas so that one stuck out to me!
All I remember is that they were talking about the painting, right?
Ding ding ding! LINS got that one (and flgrl, you were right, too)!
You're turn!
: ) P
OK, here goes - the 5th season finale was the first LOST season finale to not include which character? I hope that's not too vague, but I'll give hints if needed!
LINS, is it Claire?
: ) P
Charlie was missing, as was Claire but she was mentioned.
New post is up!
I was thinking Walt, but Claire will work too...good thinking PJ!
