We're now on day ten of the exile from regular episodes of LOST. Surprisingly, I am handling it better than I thought I would. Thursday, in the late hours of the night, were a little touch-and-go, but over all, manageable.
If we were REALLY on the island, here's what would have happened in the last ten days:
The plane crashed, many perished.
Our defacto leader, Jack Shephard, a doctor from California, took Kate (very pretty) and Charlie (very shady) to look for the cockpit and a transceiver. They found the transceiver, but also found we were more than one thousand miles off course when the plane crashed.
The handsome Iraqi man, Sayid, who seems to be a whiz with anything electrical, thought he could get a stronger signal on a higher altitude. He took Kate, Charlie, and siblings, Boone and Shannon into the jungle. Sawyer tagged along, which was a good thing since he was the one who shot the polar bear (YES, polar bear!) that was chasing them!
They heard a mobius loop distress signal left by a French woman more than sixteen years ago which talks about people dying and needing rescue. It all sounds very spooky.
There've been a few deaths since the initial crash. The pilot of the plane died. Then a girl named Joanna drowned. Then the Marshal from the plane was put out of his misery. That Sawyer is a scary guy, we'll have to watch out for him. We almost lost Jack and Charlie when they got caught in a cave in.
There have been a lot of nasty fights: Jin, the angry Korean man, attacked Michael out of the blue! That was really odd. Sawyer beat Boone up. Jack and Sayid tortured Sawyer.
A lot has transpired in the last ten days... we'll see what happens next!

I like the idea of the re-cap of the first ten days! Thanks!
That was AEWSOME What a Recap. What episode are you up to?
I watched Season 1 during the MKJ hiatus ( for the 5TH time ) and your RECAP makes me want to start again. :) :)
I'm glad you liked the re-cap. It came to me as I realized that we were on day 10 of no new episodes and that I had watched the first ten days on the island!
We finished watching hour eight (The Confidence Man) of season one. That has loosely covered the first ten days on the island. Of course, we will revisit those same days from other points of view (season two, the tailies' story) later on.
In addition to paying attention to Sawyer's nicknames, which is just fun, I have also been keeping track of deaths (morbid), episodes where we start with a close-up on someone's eye (so far it has been Jack, Locke, Jack as a child, and Sun) and interesting quotes from the characters about TIME. But that is probably better saved for when I have collected a few more!
Thank PJ, as I stated on the other thread, I just don't have any time to rewatch epi's right now. So the little island is great for me. I'll be checking in as often as I can.
Oh, and I am patiently awaiting the new whisper trancripts from the finale....doin' what looks like the pee-pee dance. :)
Hey, I suppose THIS is the "little island"??! I guess I already knew where to look, since I found it when the "island moved" :)
It's fun to have a second place to go for LOST news and ideas. Couldn't live without all of you!
Rita
Rita is anonymous? Or just happen to also be named Rita?
It's just me, Hammer. I need to set up a google account and log in my name. In the mean time, I just come up as "annonymous".
Rita (from the LOST blog)
OK, I think I've got it! Aloha little islanders!
Rita
Welcome, Rita! Glad you found us!
: ) P
It is going to take me some time to figure out how to navigate this "little island". As I posted earlier on another section of this blog, I turned the wheel and ended up here! Thanks for taking the time to do this for us, PJ!
I hope all works out with DocH... I miss him, just as I miss Hammer but I understand that you are busy!
Trixanna
Wow! I just set up an account and can be the real me (sort of) now.. Trixanna lives!
I am so glad to see familiar faces here!
Welcome, Trixanna!

Wow, just finished reading all the archive posts. I am REALLY bummed that docH has pulled out and taken all his posts with him. DocH, if you are still there, I really appreciate your insight and reasoned theories. Please don't leave. This blog (including the big island) just would never be the same without you.
Are you going to watch a dvd per week and then recap?
I like later in Season one when the term "others" is used referring to other losties.
I don't know if I can keep it to a DVD a week. Specially when family comes to visit. (One of the down sides of living at the beach is that you become a LOT more popular to friends and family when summer rolls around! LOL). But I will try to do an "on the island" recap every ten days or so.
Tonight, I did watch Episode nine (Solitary). Here are Sawyer's nicknames for that one:
Jackass (Jack)
Dr. Quinn (Jack)
the damn Arab (about Sayid)
Freckles (Kate)

Now what is GMTA?
Thanks, L4E.
I should've just tried to figure it out on my own. I was tired and went to an anagram site which gave me NOTHING.
I knew it HAD to be an anagram, because Hammer corrected himself to add the I in Cravier.
So I isolated the "V" because it was the unusual letter and got it from there.
But thanks, I was ABOUT to go crazy!

I think it is because Leah posted similar ideas the same time as we did.

pjsander: (One of the down sides of living at the beach is that you become a LOT more popular to friends and family when summer rolls around!
Especially in this heat. 90 plus the last 5 days here in Cleveland, until today.
I was just curious. Anything to make the next 7 and a half months go faster.
Now I have a dilemma. Warm weather and no LOST or late January, a foot of snow ( at least )and LOST Season 5 ( the DHARMA YEARS, at least I hope ). Hmmmmm....
TY for the GMTA.
Hmmmmm. PJ lives at the beach. I think that a LAA roadtrip to the beach might be fun..... :)

It was a crappy attempt to hint where to find the little island.
Ben F.,
Welcome to the "little island." The extra R would explain why the anagram website I found couldn't come up with the right anagram. I guess once I figured out the "fever" part, I dismissed that extra R! LOL.
Still, you found the little island, so yay! Now... what is your name on the "big island" if you don't mind?
: ) P
Good morning bloggers! I'm with miss kim, LAA road trip to the beach!
so, i still don't plan on posting here until i'm less of a newbie on the big island but i'm glad i found it...thanks for the hints...;) gotta be honest tho, still haven't figured out the meaning of Ben F Cavier...don't tell me tho because i'm still trying...;)
catch ya'll back on the 'big rock' ;)
ps-i accidentally saw the meaning of the anagram while 'exploring' this island, before i could figure it out...bummer! ;) hope you all are having agreat day!
Welcome, ESB. We don't care if you are a "newbie" here or anywhere. Circus Mom, this goes for you, too, if you happen to read this...
Though I am sure everyone would be THRILLED if you read all the prior posts, we don't have any long involved debates here yet. Mostly it is just commentary here and there.
I think we are all still posting our major "theories" on the big island and come here to hang out "after class."

Just a suggestion, but maybe start a "welcome" thread for the folks that find us? You could tell them the same thing.
Great idea, Hammer!
Will do!
: ) P
What a fun idea this was PJ, to offer up this site as a "treasure hunt" of sorts. I hope lots of people find us. Welcome to anyone who does!
I put the Shhhhhhhhhhhh clue out there. If they go the Whisper Theory thread, they will see I posted the comment number 546 from Cabin Fever(the comment that PJ told us about the small island).
Okay off to coach a double header in Imlay City, MI (middle of the thumb).
Check back in the a.m.
i actually found this island by Google-ing PJSander...;)
Good job, ESB. My hint was to google "they moved the island" and either "PJSander" or ": ) P" and it would get you a link to this blog.
I have never googled just "PJSander" before. Just did... and oddly enough, other than here, none of those people are me. I suppose if I went past the first few pages, I would find me. But I am not Trisha and I don't live in Missouri! LOL.
: ) P
Hi everyone! Thanks for the treasure hunt PJ!
Welcome CAG!

Okay, tonight I watched "Raised by Another" and "Even Cowboys Have Daddy Issues." Both good episodes!
Here are Sawyer's nicknames:
Episode 10 (Raised by Another)
Stay Puff (Hurley)
Episode 11 (All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues)
Tattoo (Walt)
Islams (Sayid)
Dr. Do Right (about Jack)
There were a couple of amusing lines in the episodes, which I will share.
The first one happened in Episode 10, which is Claire centric.
[Shot of Claire sitting on a rock or stump in the jungle writing in her journal, Charlie brings her tea.]
CHARLIE: Dear diary, still on the bloody island. Today I swallowed a bug, love Claire. [He hands her tea.] Here, what separates us from these savage Yanks if we can't drink tea? Feeling better?
The second happens in episode 11. Walt is telling Sawyer what's been going on back in the caves. It is an amusing one that was somewhat foreshadowing (now that we KNOW what happens!):
WALT: There could be lots of other people on the island.
SAWYER: So a tribe of evil natives planted a ringer in the camp to kidnap a pregnant girl and a reject from VH-1 has-beens? Yeah, fiendishly clever. And why am I getting the evening news from a 6 year old.
WALT: I'm 10.
SAWYER: Okay, then it must be true.
Gotta love this show!
: ) P
Yeah- I found you guys! Thanks for the help yesterday...now I will have to get caught up and read these threads.
Dang, my attempt to get more people to read the Whisperers Theory tanked.
LOL.
Glad you all found it.
Welcome Gup!

(and LOL, Hammer)
"Well Jack...you put a gun to my head and pulled the trigger. I was kinda hoping we could let bygones be bygones..."

;)
Sawyer's nicknames from episode 12 (Whatever the Case May Be):
Freckles (Kate)
Girl (Kate)
Freckles (Kate)
Sweetheart (Kate)
Woman (Kate)
Daddy (Kate)
Freckles (Kate)
Sweetheart (Kate)
Doctor (Jack)
(Can you tell almost all his scenes were with Kate!?)
: ) P
Oops! The "daddy" nickname was to Michael, NOT Kate! LOL
: ) P
Hey Circus Dork! I would love to hear about what you do in the circus. Pretty interesting. You too, Circus Mom!
Sawyer's nickname in Episode 13 (Hearts and Minds):
Croc Hunter (to police officer in Boone's flashback)
