The "what" is just as important as the "who"! Will we be seeing those that have died, those that will die, or a little bit of both? Or will it be focusing not on our LOSTies but on MIB and his Mommy Dearest? Hopefully this episode provides each of us a meaningful story no matter what course it takes.

I know that I haven't been by ALL season. I'm sorry!! PJ has been reminding me via Facebook and well, I'm a bad follower. BUT, I finally had a few minutes free and thought I would drop in.
I need to take an hour(s) or so and go back and read everyones FABULOUS comments from the get go, maybe I'll get that done AFTER tonights episode.
I have a questions/quandry for everyone. I may be WAY off base and if so, I blame is SQUARELY on pregnancy brain. It's amazing that I haven't forgotten to pick up my five year old at school at this point. But....
Random thought:
So, Jacob hasn't not inhabited the cabin in some time. Thus it has been inhabited by the MIB as Christian and such... See More. Ben has made the comment in the past that he received 'some' of his orders from 'the cabin'.... so does this mean that Ben has been taking orders from the MIB all along? Thus Jacobs "What about -you-??" line before Ben stabbed him.
I have NO IDEA why this popped into my head today while driving, but it did. Any one have anything on this????
As for tonights episode... hmm... I dont have a lot of thoughts going into it (which PJ can tell you is rare) but after the temporary loss of (lost) reality that last week caused me, I'm still working all of that out. :))

In a quick answer, Julie, I don't know.
I think YES, Ben got some of his orders from MIB, unwittingly believing they were from Jacob, *BUT* Ben later confessed that he had never heard ANYTHING in that cabin.
Locke heard something - which I guess must have been MIB.
I joked about Nikki and Paulo - but aren't diamonds made from ash? If an ash ring can keep MIB prisoner, what would the DIAMONDS do? LOL

Do your realize this is the LAST TUESDAY of LOST!!! I'm so sad...excited to see the episode, but sad...ahhh, this is so bittersweet!!
I'm excited to see the island back in real time though, the last time we saw all the remaining Losties, it was so sad...and I still really want to know where Ben and Richard and Miles went!!!
since i think the FSW is a FF, and richard DID say he saw everyone die, AND the island sinks, i'm thinking it hits the fan tonight.
and then maybe the finale is the FSW/FF world going back in time for who knows why. to show us that it will always keep happening?
...or it will just be some out-of-context line mentioned in the FSW...

Am very happy that it's going to be Locke v Jack in the end. I wasn't sure who I was going to want, but after Jack stepped up I realized how lame it would've been if it had been any of the others.
Lins...Des is immune to the big magnet=won't turn into an evil smoke plume...imo.
Doc...I definatley think most everyone including James and Miles show up to the concert for the big reunion and they all realize what they have to do to course correct and save the world.

It was TiVo'd! I had "newbie practice" tonight, so missed LOST live. Wow. Great episode. I am almost afraid to go to TBI and see it torn to shreds! LOL.
I loved the "kidnap" line. Also, when Jack told Locke not to mistake coincidence for fate. We STILL don't know who David's mother is, but I am feeling more and more like it must be Juliet, since we haven't seen her FSW.
So do you think that the concert that David was talking about was the Faraday/Drive Shaft concert? I kind of thought he was playing at his own concert. Unless he is playing AT the Faraday / DS concert as well?

So that would put (potentially) Des, Charlie, Faraday, Kate, Sayid, Hurley (and Libby?), Charlotte, Miles, Sawyer, Widmore, and Eloise at the concert...I'm assuming that this is the same concert Jack's son was referring to, so that also includes him, Jack, Claire (?), Juliet (?)...now just throw in Locke and Ben, Danielle and Alex...if Boone shows up too...whoa baby, Sunday's going to be GOOD!!

The BIG problem I saw was Flocke told Ben he could have the island to himself when he’s leaves (to get Ben to kill people that the rules stop him from doing it himself). Then at the end of the episode he told Ben he was going to destroy the island.
When are people (Claire, Ben) going to realize he’s a liar and won’t keep his word?
Where was Claire? Did I forget something?
So the Kwon on the wall must have meant Jin? And does that mean that Jacob confirmed that the cave and the names on it was really his and not just MIB's? So the purpose of the lighthouse and the names with the numbers there was just for him to see the candidates?
And yes, I was thinking "they better sit down and listen to him, I'm going to be so mad if they don't just sit down and listen to him!!!"

But there seems to be a question about the concert.
I assumed that it meant that it was Jack's son's concert. Didn't he ask Jack in the begining "are you coming to my concert?"
The dress that Des purchased for Kate was a little high brow for a DS concert.
We've already seen Dogen (sp) at the 'school'... so maybe it's some uber-expensive benefit that everyone can meet and mingle at??

I have seen people trying to connect the dots between the asteroid Lost commercial and LOST. I guess not everyone realizes that was the winner of the Promo contest. So now there are theories floating around about how they are all on an asteroid:)

Ben has been taken for a ride. Will MiB's stated intent to destroy the Island cause him to change sides again? He's SO dependable. If "the rules" prohibited Ben from killing Widmore, how -- um -- was he able to kill Widmore?
Young Jacob is corporeal! He was able to grab the bag of ashes right out Hugo's hand. Mature, dead Jacob is visible to those to whom he chooses to show himself. Did I phrase that right? I think most people -- including Hugo -- thought only Hugo could see Jacob because of his ability to have conversations with the dead.
IMO, there are theories floating about the "asteroid commercial" because 1) it's there and 2) we're running out of other things to theorize about. There are fewer than sixty posts to the theory page on LP; normally there would be hundreds.

I don't think Miles needs to be a target, but I'd guess that IF Ben is really helping MIB, he can use Miles to get close to his targets.

I have a question that has probably been answered this season, but I can't think of it. Why is it exactly that MIB needed Locke's body? What is it Locke died for? I don't completely understand how him having Locke's body now is the loophole. It looks like he can turn into different people, so what was so special about Locke? Does he like the bald head or something? I mean it's not like he IS being Locke. Everyone knows he isn't him. Like I said, maybe this was answered but I just need someone to remind me.
Eloise's benefit concert is long over. They were setting tables for it before Des ran over Locke and now Locke has healed from his surgery. My guess is this is a concert for the school David auditioned for.
Desmond and Hurley reminded me of Eloise and Bram, not in any particular order. They know things and said Anna Lucia isn't ready yet.
Tasha, I think what Locke died for was MIBs opportunity. Ben was influenced by MIB in telling him Locke had to come back to the island. Eloise only said the O6, remember Locke didn't leave with them. MIB needed to look like someone they knew to get his plan rolling.
Here is my take on the Jack/concert/coffin thing.
Des knows that Jack is Jacob’s replacement. Des is getting ‘everyone’ back together to mesh the timelines and course correct. Des knows that Jack can’t be with them when that happens for some reason.

LOL, thanks Hammer. I had a couple of hours where I only had two things going at once and thought I would try to catch up on TBI since it is the last one! I posted a bunch in a row, but to be honest, it was hard not to post more. LOL. For those who aren't going to TBI, there are LOTS of people complaining. In response to one partial post
I blame ABC. Something must have happened with the executives that caused the producers to haphazardly fast-track the progress of the show and screw up the puzzle.

Actually, this all went pretty much according to plan BECAUSE the fans ASKED for, and D&C demanded, an END DATE. Had there not been one, we still would have been working with Artz, Nikki, Paulo and Claire’s birds.
Would things have been told differently with three 22 episode seasons, instead of three 16 episode seasons? Of course. In the end, we are still getting the story that D&C wanted to tell. Will everyone love it? Of course not. But we can choose to b*tch, moan and complain about every little nitpicky bump in the road, or we can sit down, hold on and enjoy the ride, even if some of the scenery makes us a bit car-sick.
It is your choice.

Awww, PJ, Hammer, et al, I think it's nice that you're getting these "shout outs" now. I have to say that you guys have ALL made this a very enjoyable experience for me. I was just saying last night, when explaining to my husband why I can't focus on anything this week, that I haven't been this attached to and excited about a show since the Buffy/Angel times. I'm really going to miss the show and the blogger friends I've made. And now I must stop this before I well up at my desk!
I'm still reeling from the 2-hour simulcast with D & C lastnight! Michael Emerson and Jorge made an appearance too. They gave a couple of things away, and they even showed a minute of the finale...though it didn't really spoil anything.
But it was AWESOME to see LOST clips on the big screen!

Circus opens tonight so I have been missing a lot. No shows Monday or Tuesday so I can post after the finale. Once the whole thing is over it would be nice to do a rewatch from the begining and look at where everything fits or dosn't. We could do a epi a week.
We could also start Lost Book Club. Ben could even join back up.
Saw today that six pages of script from the finale were leaked...I'm too scared to read it now, but will definitely want to check it out after Sunday!! Can't believe we're so close to the end (no pun intended)...not sure what show I'll be able to obsess about after this :)

I suspect it isn't much important. The final scenes were given ONLY to those *in* the scenes and staff stayed with the actors while the read the script. If anything "good" leaked out, they are going to know exactly who it was.

The past 2 nights on kimmel have been hilarious. I just LOVED Sawyer...he is so hot! Anyway, it was funny how his wife is just blabbing out the ending to people, too bad Jimmy didn't get her on the show to spill the beans! I loved Rose and Bernard's question and I liked Thursday when they had Jimmy as a bad geek with Jacob haha. Just thinking about it makes me laugh!

Well, today is the day....good or bad or indifferent, this is it! I want to know the ending, but at the same time, I DON'T WANT THIS TO END!! Well it has really hit me today and it's starting to get depressing. I can't wait to watch it but at the same time, what will I look forward to? Can't wait to see ya'll here tonight. I might even hang out at TBI if i start early. I just don't like getting there late and reading through comments. I bet people are going to be MAD. On youtube there are alot of videos listed as the Final Scene of lost. Don't know if they are legit because I don't want to click on them LOL. I didn't wait all this time to have it ruined. But one of the thumbnails has me thinking....I can't wait!!
